| This is a month long program designed to prepare you to kayak the Gauley river.. either the Lower or the Upper. The training will take place at the Dickerson Artificial Whitewater Course for three workouts. We will put you in every circumstance that you might see on the Gauley to test your roll, and we will help you get the feel of paddling through strong, turbulent whitewater. Dickerson Workouts are Sat. September 7, 14 & 28. Gauley Trips are Sept. 21 & 22 and Oct. 5 & 6. When registering, please select the date of the trip you are training to attend. The cost of the program is $335. Those who are qualified afterwards and whose skills are sufficient, will be invited to join us on a two day Gauley trip, free of charge. |
