"Time for a Direct Discussion of Race and Education?"
***11:20 a.m. www.WeActRadio.com (or 1480 AM)***
August 24 is the 50th Anniversary of the March on Washington, an
important call to reflect on the current state of racial justice in this
country. A number of community groups in Washington DC are answering
this call by beginning a dialogue on race and racism. On August 8, We
Act Radio's Education Town Hall focuses on this call for dialogue in the
context of education: How can a renewed, open dialogue on race and
racism influence educational reform? How can we build such a dialogue in
a helpful way?
