Attached are the fliers for two (2) Back-to-School Events this Saturday, August 17, 2013. 

 

First is the Greater Washington Urban League's (GWUL) "Community Health and Wellness Back to School Festival" at their headquarters 2901 14th St NW (corner of Harvard St), tomorrow, Sat, 8/17/13, 11:00am-5:00pm.  In addition to the health and wellness programs, the GWUL will also be giving away Book bags and school supplies.

This is located 2 blocks from the Green Line Columbia Heights Metro Station.  H2,3,4 and H8 stop one block up.  There are also the 14th St bus lines

 

The 2nd event I previously sent out, "the OCASE Foundation's 2nd Annual Backpack School Supply Giveaway", also tomorrow, Sat, 8/17/13, at Rita's Water Ice, 2318 Rhode Island Ave NE, 1:00pm-5:00pm.
