JUDGE GRANTS IVY CITY MOTION FOR PRELIMINARY INJUNCTION AGAINST CHARTER BUS PARKING LOT
At 4:51pm today, an assistant to Judge Judith Macaluso said she was in the process of writing up the Judge's order in the case of Vaughn Bennett et al v. Union Station Redevelopment Corporation et al. The assistant said the Order was entitled "Order Granting Plaintiff's Motion for Preliminary Injunction." She said the contents of the order would be available in approximately one day. The order likely means that construction of the charter bus parking lot on Gallaudet Street NE in Ivy City will have to stop until a trial on the matter is held. Check back here for more news as it becomes available.
