Sam -- trust and believe that he is building cases on some of the others. None of us are saints but when you take on official positions, you have taken an oat to provide a certain service for your constituents and should be held to a higher standard. If you can't keep the expected standard, you should just stay a civillian!!!
And Brian -- I am not collecting any money for a "Fenty" look-a-like. I have enough problems of my own to add Fenty and Rhee to my pile.
But if you do, you will definitely split Bowser's vote further!! LOL!
Rob
Other names I've heard being floated: David Catania and Ron Machen. If Catania (as an Independent) doesn't have to worry about a primary, he can wait, raise money and explore more. Machen - if he indicts and/or arrests every member of the Council, he could clean his own path to the Wilson Building! Happy hump day.- Sam from Stronghold

Are there any other possibilities or names mentioned? Who has the best shot and who has no shot? I don't see Marie Johns running, who would have been a worthy candidate. Even though I have listed announced and possible candidates that doesn't mean that the incumbent isn't running or isn't the best candidate. This is just prepping for next year's race. Will anyone be drafted to run?
By the way, do we have a date for the election of the D.C. Democratic State Committee members? Will the elections be before the Mayoral primary? Citizens may want to focus on getting people elected to that body as well. Some may be reelected, too.
