Good Evening Ward 5 Friends,

FYI -- Please read the attached DC Office on Aging (DCOA) press release regarding changes in the delivery of most home delivered meals beginning in early September 2012.

We have assessed our home delivered meals clients to determine who should be able to accommodate this change to Mom's Meals and have communicated this change to them.  Our most frail clients will continue to receive five meals, three days a week, as they are currently receiving them now.  DCOA reduced our Agency's maximum for weekend home delivered meals so we determined that our most frail clients will also receive weekend meals.

If you have any questions or learn later that of one of our current home delivered meal clients has experienced any problems with this upcoming change, please contact me next week or thereafter (I'm currently on vacation).

Take care.
