Yesterday, I introduced seven education bills at the Council's Legislative Meeting. Collectively, the legislation provides a blueprint for the future of public education in the District. The seven bills focus on the topics of funding, school accountability, assessments, enrollment, facilities, parental engagement, and governance.
Now it's your turn to weigh in on these proposals. I want to hear your thoughts and ideas on how you believe we can take our public education system to another level. You can read, download, and learn about the legislation, as well as submit your feedback at: David Catania: A Blueprint for Achievement & Accountability.
Thank you for your interest in the future of our public education system. I look forward to hearing your views.
Sincerely,
David Catania
