Councilmember McDuffie’s Statement on Chairman Brown’s Resignation

While the charging and resignation of Chairman Brown represent a solemn moment for the District of Columbia, we on the Council must move forward and make certain that the residents of the District have the benefit of our full attention to the business of government.

Although my first week on the Council has been an eventful one, I would like to ensure that the residents of Ward 5 and the District of Columbia know that I remain singularly focused on the pressing issues that affect their lives.
