[WardFive] Summer Reading Program at your neighborhood Library

Summer Reading Program at the DC Public Library!

All youth in the District are invited to join DC Public Library's Summer Reading Program. Kids and teens will win prizes for reading and attending library programs. The library has lots of fun events planned - and they're all free! So, stop by your library to sign up today. Teens sign up online at dclibrary.org/summerreading.

Children and teens who read during the summer keep their brains active and enter school in the fall ready to learn. If you have little ones, remember -- you are your child's first teacher. Look at picture books with your children who have not learned to read. Point out people, animals and objects. Read to your children. Ask them to read to you. Your librarian will be happy to help you find books that are just right. We hope you and your family enjoy reading together and that you discover the treasures of your DC Public Library. Visit dclibrary.org for more information.

Visit the Woodridge Neighborhood Library and get started!
