I have been aware of this program for a number of years, and have shared this information with property owners, homeowners and renters. If your home/apt was built before 1978, you could be eligible for this program. Contact the DC Housing and Community Development agency at: 202-442-7279 for further information. If you believe you could benefit from this program or want to know if you do, just call, for if you don't ask, you'll never know.
