[WardFive] ANC 5B Community Meeting November 17, 2021 @ 6:30 pm

Good Afternoon,

According to my emails, it seems as if there's a lot of confusion around the budget meeting with our neighbors in the Brookland community to be held on Wednesday, November 10th in-person. To that end, the meeting has been cancelled. Please see attached agenda to share with your social media platforms, constituents, friends, and such. I have also included the budget to review and give as much feedback as you can prior to the community meeting being held on November 17th. ANC 5B will set aside 30 minutes at the end of our meeting to hear comments in reference to the budget prior to our vote.

ANC 5B's community meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at 6:30 pm.

[WardFive] Ward 5 Council Candidate Forum

Ward 5 Council Candidate Forum

Hosted by DC for Democracy

Wednesday, November 10th 7:00-8:30pm via Zoom

Free and open to the public. Attendance is limited to the first 500 participants. You can join the forum by computer, smartphone or landline. Please register to receive the information you need to join by any of these methods.

The Ward 5 Council seat is the most hotly contested of the 2022 cycle, as current Councilmember Kenyan McDuffie is not running for re-election. All candidates who have formally filed (Faith Gibson Hubbard, Gordon Fletcher, Zachary Parker and Vincent Orange) are confirmed to attend. Any candidates who file before the forum will also be invited.

The forum will include questions from the audience.

DC for Democracy is an all-volunteer political organization that advocates for progressive policies and candidates endorsed by our voting members.
