[WardFive] 12th & Monroe Street NE Blockage

Good Morning,

I want to thank our committed residents for reaching out to me in reference to the police activity and barricade at 12th & Monroe Street NE. I spoke with MPD and the Lt stated, in light of the recent threats at Catholic University, the police are taking precautionary steps to ensure that a abandon UHAUL truck is posing no threat to the community.

The MPD canines, DCFD, and all necessary emergency agencies will be on sight to ensure that the vehicle is non threatening. Have a great day.
