Re: [WardFive] Water Issue!

Rob,

I had the same thought and asked some folks familiar with the situation.  The concern is that in many instances the water may not have enough time to boil off the bad items. It may get to heat and once it does the heating element may cycle off. In addition many folks have gone to tankless or solar water heaters which dont heat the same way apparently.

Hello Everyone,

Regarding the water .. here is an idea

Maybe DCWASA can suggest that people turn their water heater up and just run the bath with hot water and let it cool some ... no showers ... and use a bucket to fill first with hot water to wash off after bath. I know that you don't ingest the water during the shower but some people do rinse their mouth by habit while showering and it might get rid of any other concerns of taking showers.

Same with washing face or hands after use in bathroom... and for washing dishes (if no dishwasher)... run the hot water and fill a bucket to use ... This might help some... suggest someone forward to the affected area list servs
