Hey Cheat Training Community!
-- I am so excited to be able to share a bunch of good news with you. Although Cheat Fest is canceled, we are going to be able to hold the Cheat River Massacre-ence (AKA the Cheat Race) this year!!! A few things will be different, most notably, the race date is now Saturday May 1st. There will also be 3 heats based on boat class; loosely categorized by race boats, long boats, and short boats. The organizers will make an official announcement in a few weeks via social media so let's not post about it until they do.
Because the race is a week earlier than usual, our training schedule will be adjusted. The last week of training will be the week of April 26. We are cutting a week out of the program but will replace it with a Cheat trip, meaning, for each of you signed up, you will get one free Cheat Trip. Of course, we encourage you to attend as many of the trips as you can. We will share the sign up for those in March.
Start times for Saturdays in March will be staggered to keep group sizes small. This year, you can select 9 am or 10 am as your meeting time at Sycamore Island. Please use this google sheet to sign up for your sessions. This will help us plan for staffing and shuttle.

Join us Sundays in April for Creeking as we hit class III/IV runs in the WV, MD, PA area!
New this year, we are offering personalized Coaching to reach your goals. Bobby and Steve-O will design a training program tailored to you; could include video analysis, in town and out-of-town sessions. Get a few friends together and make your river goals happen!
Advanced Playboating Clinics are now on the calendar too!
