Hello Calleva Paddling Family,
My turn to hijack this mailing list, to let you know about the Savage Race this Sunday (July 4).
This year again, the Savage Race will be part of the Mid-Atlantic Downriver Cup (MAC), which includes races down the Lehigh, the Delaware, and the Tohickon. The MAC Champion will be designated for each category, by cumulating the scores obtained in all races.
Some basic information about the Savage race:
- Entry fee is $10 (Online registration link HERE)
- You can enter one of four categories: wildwater (M/F) or non-wildwater kayaks (M/F) (bring your long boats!).
- There will be both a sprint race (starts at 11 am) and a classic race (starts at 2 pm). Feel free to enter either or both.
- No shuttle will be provided
