Dear Faith --

Our children are growing up in a world with challenges and opportunities that previous generations could not have imagined.  They must be equipped with the tools they will need to succeed in the increasingly competitive 21st century economy.  Earlier today, I introduced the D.C. Promise Establishment Act of 2013.  The legislation seeks to guarantee that every District student can pursue a college or a technical education after high school.

Great communities invest in their people.  And education is the most enduring solution to the problem of income inequality, which causes mistrust and division among our residents.

The D.C. Promise Act has the potential to change the lives of students who find themselves unable to pursue their educational goals for financial reasons.  I hope you will take a moment to find out more about this important legislation at www.davidcatania.com/dcpromise.

Sincerely,
