Details: December 15, 2016 is the last day District residents can enroll in a health plan for coverage effective January 1, 2017. With this deadline approaching, DC Health Link will help last minute shoppers get enrolled in health coverage by passing out information a local metro stops and directing consumers to nearby enrollment centers. In addition to regular enrollment center hours citywide, several locations will have extended the hours including the "One-Touch" Enrollment Center with special services designed to provide comprehensive, onsite health insurance enrollment support and resources including identity verification, case management, plan selection, and information on financial help for plan premiums. · On December 15, the deadline for enrolling in coverage effective January 1, 2017, certain key DC Health Link enrollment centers will have extended hours open into the evening.
· The One-Touch Enrollment Center (see below), from 5-8pm, is designed as a "one-stop shop" to provide health insurance enrollment services and resources including on-site identity proofing, verification, Medicaid enrollment, premium reductions, free one-on-one enrollment support from certified assisters, and free plan selection assistance from licensed brokers.
