[WardFive] Looking for two Partners to join the Education Forward DC Team

Sharing!

Maura Marino is CEO of Education Forward DC, a philanthropy working to advance quality and equity in public schools in the nation's capital. She is currently seeking two cabinet level partners to join the organization. The (pretty amazing) roles are as follows:

1.     Schools Investment Partner. You can find the job description here. Looking back on your legacy, you will be most proud that you:

  • Reimagined the role of philanthropy to ensure the best ideas for serving the underserved were at the table
  • Displayed courage when you pushed your grantees - perhaps to places of discomfort
  • Built upon the NewSchools legacy to ensure students were at the center of all investment decisions

2.     Public Engagement Partner. You can find the job description here. Looking back on your legacy, you will be most proud that you:

  • Lifted city-wide organizations up by providing thoughtful advice and counsel to them to increase their impact tenfold
  • Invested in organizations that heard honest feedback from families and moved the needle on what they wanted for their children
  • Persuaded the city's political decision makers to focus on key equity issues that affected tens of thousands of kids.

Both roles report directly to the CEO and are part of the Leadership Team at Education Forward DC.

If you can think of someone in your network who might be interested in the roles, please share the information above and refer candidates to heather@offorwalkergroup.com

If YOU are interested in either of the roles, you can apply here.

Thank you for helping spread the word about these great roles at a wonderful organization!
