Subject: FW: Colorectal Cancer Health Seminar in Ward 5. on February 10 at 11 pm at Woodridge Library

Dear Community Residents

Medstar Washington Hospital Center has a new project Colorectal Cancer Prevention in the Neighborhood.  Ward 5 has the highest rate of late stage colorectal cancer.  At this event will
educate and provide information and assistance to those in the Ward community. We hope to expand this program to other wards.

FACT: Women and Men 50 years and older living in Wards 5, had some of the highest rates of advanced late stage colorectal cancer diagnosis in the city.  Regular screening can often find colorectal cancer early, when it is most likely to be curable. ... Why is it important to find colorectal cancer early? ... But only about 4 out of 10 colorectal cancers are found at this early stage.

I invite to come this event.  See attached flyer
