Dear Ward 5 Community,
This year the DCPS budget season is kicking off with a public hearing and public engagement campaign starting on "Engage DCPS: Budget Matters!" starting November 26, 2013. In an effort to increase transparency and offer opportunity for public input on DCPS's Fiscal Year 2015 (FY15) budget decisions, Engage DCPS is seeking feedback to understand what matters to DCPS families and community members!
We are particularly interested in your thoughts on the following 3 priorities:
1. Continuing to improve the 40 lowest performing schools.
2. Improving middle schools for families and students.
3. Making sure DCPS students love their schools.
