This coming Saturday 5/30, we will be heading up to the Savage River. Please meet at the Gaithersburg Park and Ride at 7 am. (Please email me if you need directions.) The release is short- 10 am to 2 pm so we really want to be there as soon as the water hits. From here we can arrange carpools and head up to the Savage put-in. Please bring your creeker or whatever boat you would likely paddle the Upper Yough in. The Savage is cold! You should bring a drytop at the minimum. Be sure to have good river shoes. We will be using the shuttle so also bring $5 cash.
