Red Line single tracking continues at this hour with all appropriate maintenance personnel in position to make repairs at the conclusion of rush hour. There are no reports of significant crowding at any station. We are turning selected trains at Farragut North to maintain more regular service on the Glenmont side of the line. Riders traveling through the single track zone are experiencing delays in the 20-30 minute range.
I will provide a final update when two-track service is restored.
