Happy Memorial Day Weekend Ward 5!
My daughter, Krysten Thomas, a lifelong Ward 5 resident, is a finalist in the 2015 Miss District of Columbia Scholarship Pageant.
A 23 year-old, she is a Legislative Correspondent on Capitol Hill in the Office of Senator Claire McCaskill and a volunteer with several non-profit organizations in Washington.
