[WardFive] Events coming up... Debate Watch Party, Bolivia Independence Gala, other

I am glad to see D.C. Statehood getting some national attention, TV host John Oliver highlighted the fight for Statehood on his HBO show, Last Week Tonight with humor and accuracy. You can view the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Z4j2CrJRn4.  Also, special thanks to Councilmembers Anita Bonds, Vincent Orange and others for presenting a Resolution at the National Conference of State Legislators in support of the Enfranchisement of D.C. residents.  Click here to read the Resolution.

Please attend below events in the community. Take special note of the GOP Watch Party/Rooftop mixer THIS Thursday.  Listed is also the Dominican Day Parade in New York City, where I plan to bring a DC Statehood contingency; this is a good opportunity to do out of state DC Statehood outreach.  Hope to see you at these events.
Thank you.
