[WardFive] Veterans Day

Please join me in thanking all the veterans for their commitment to defending democracy, and specially the more than 30,000 that live in Washington DC.   TODAY, join Veterans United for DC Statehood at Freedom Plaza for a Rally with Congresswoman Norton, Senator Michael Brown, Hector Rodriguez (head of Veterans United for DC Statehood), and many others, as veterans are honored for their commitment to continuing to fight for freedom in the Nation's Capital.  See below for full details.

A couple of weekends ago, we had a great welcoming parade for the 2019 Baseball World Series Champions –The Washington Nationals.  Please watch some great video moments I captured of this historic moment:  http://dcireporter.com/dc-hosts-washington-nationals-world-series-parade-2019/

With enough votes for a House vote, our DC Statehood Bill (H.R. 51) now has 223 cosponsors in the House, and S.631 in the Senate, has a record 35 cosponsors.  Today is a good day to remind the nation that the over 700,000 people that live in Washington DC need full democracy.  Please visit: https://dcvote.p2a.co/G1XWuXM and join the fight for equality.

If your time permits, please join me at one of the events below.
Thank you.
