Re: cheat_training_group Lock 6 - Snapping Turtle

Heh, that and SNAKES... everywhere snakes. At MD Chute yesterday there were a pile of like 8 snakes having an orgy on a rock on river left. It was creepy. And on the attain up there, right when going around the big rocks when you first see MD Chutes, there were two snakes sitting on the rock seemingly watching me ferry. I feel like Indiana Jones... "Snakes... why'd it have to snakes?" Makes me really appreciate all the birds that eat them that much more.

What kind of snakes are all over the river right now anyway?

FYI to all those who train at Lock 6, it is now the home of a HUGE
snapping turtle that got quite irate at me yesterday when I did a
roll. (Maybe he didn't like my technique?)

I last saw him on river left just below the last "rapids" area, in the
part where we normally practice rolling.

He did seem more interested in running off then attacking, but these
guys are notoriously feisty so putting out a general warning if anyone
runs by him again.

Hmmm I should name him :)
