Dr. Peloquin,

I could be wrong about this man but I don't think you are going to get a response on this. Let me share some thing below that might be help with this jrturner handwriting issue -

Here is some identical wording from last October/November when the Cafe was still going through the Liquor License issue 2.5 years later and I pointed out that it sounded like Don Padou was using Brian Ions email address to respond.  Then in late January, out comes a  "Jrturner" when the Padous needed to talk about the election while being "unbiased". Strange that I identified it to someone's query at the Wilson bldg at that point and now it seems even more clear. See below how similar the language and the similarity of the sarcasm/cynicism following the comments.

1.  "Jrturner" wrote........It is Mr. McDuffie's job to represent our interests on the Council. I don't want him to feel my pain or hold uplifting cheer leading sessions about how "great" the Ward is.

2.  "Brian Ions" wrote.......Jerry, I appreciate a good watering hole as well as the next person. If I were a regular customer, I might be cheer leading for the owners, too. But in this instance, you are cheer leading AGAINST the legitimate concerns of neighbors and an ANC. That is quite a different matter.

Below, another clip of similarity between Brian Ions and jrturner ......

3.  JrTurner wrote on Feb 18 2012 ............  Gee, I sure am sorry to offend you. If your boosterism of Barry was explicit rather than implicit then you'll just have to chalk my mistake up to lack of special brain training

4.......Brian Ions wrote on 10/31/11 .............. Geez, Rob, I'm impressed.  Thanks for clearing everything up for us in another professional, succinct 1,000 word report!

BTW, did you guys tell all that to the Appeals Court judges and ABRA? Why weren't they as impressed?

Now, I bet if you check the use of the comment "Cheer Leading" on this listserv, it would be strange if it comes up other than with kids.  Isn't it strange that it is common to the only two emails that I have identified as being similar to Don Padou testimony and thought process with the same type of language following it!!

Don is a lawyer - have him sue me on this - I am willing to take the hit for being wrong if I am!

Hello,

Yep, many has been the time when I've been deployed overseas that I have thought to myself, "Self, what are you doing over here fighting these nice people when you are not even allowed to vote for a Senator back home?" Why, when I woke up in the hospital after being dumb enough to be blown-up my very first thought was, "I wonder if DC has voting rights yet?" (Okay, my real first thought was, "Is everything I came over with still attached?" but my next thought was about DC statehood).

Those who might attack the mayor for trying to hijack the memorial Day holiday in service to his own agenda just do not understand how important DC voting rights are to those humping 50 Lbs of ALICE in desert heat.

The Mayor sort of reminds me of Cato the Elder. Cato ended every speech, no matter the topic, with the same refrain: Carthage must be destroyed! (You will all remember that Carthage was Rome's bitter enemy until, well, Carthage was destroyed). Every time the Mayor says anything he ends the speech with something like, and that is why DC needs statehood.

I guess its a tactic.
