Hello All:As you all may know, one of the newest components of CAPE League is the incorporation og STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) into our educational curriculum. In addition the our partnership with Microsoft, we will be offering the children various group and independent opportunities in STEAM.We have a camp that we have partnered with and we are offering CAPE League kids a week long camp in 3D animation and computer gaming. The value of the camp is $235, but there will be no cost to CAPE kids (The camp is designed to help students gain a better understanding of how to tell stories using digital artistic technologies). Please let me know if you are interested.Also, here is the updated list for the CAPE League reunion. The items in light blue are the items we no longer need. Please remember to confirm attendance and item. We ask each student to bring something (1 or 2 items) for the day. We have been spending quite a bit of time together and a few of our kids have been taking advantage of our summer partnership programs! This weekend, we are bringing back CAPE League Reunion/Picnic! We were not sure what the day would look like – so we moved it to Turkey Thicket park (so if the weather changes, we can have fun indoors)!CAPE League Reunion/Picnic is our summer celebration and field day where we invite out our families to join the CAPE kids for a fun day outdoors. We also invite all volunteers and ANY former members! We will be having a field day with dodgeball, basketball, water wars, board games, jump rope, music and lots and lots of food! Members can also head inside to enjoy Tuckey Thicket's aquatic center for swimming and other play activities, throughout the facility. Members get to compete from prizes throughout the day. And one parent/guest will get a free ticket to our PBM Summer Cruise – A Midsummer's Medley. We also hope to start some new members this week. See below for details.Please confirm attendance of the child and guests, so we can bring enough food! I will also be bringing some games and other items.
