Kokotat makes incredible gear. I have had my suit for 5 or 6 years and it is still dry. I am not sure about the new zipper system on the Idol. It seems great and I have seen them in person. They look durable but I do not know and have not heard of anyone using the new style zipper suit. My guess is that it is a good buy.

Just bought a Kokat dry suit (Meridian GMER) for my son. Heard very good things about these for women from none other than Charlie Duffy, kayak gear impresario. Same great fabrics as GMER, I believe, with more flexibility, particularly for women. I'd say, "Buy it."
