Cheat Trainers!--The sky has opened up, the rains came, snow melted, and the rivers have risen!!! I would like to thank all of you lovely paddlers for doing a rain dance! It worked and now we are looking at 5.0 on the prediction gauge.I hope everyone is ready to work to get up river!! We have now had 4 sessions so everyone should be feeling better and more in shape. Since our workout Saturday I have joined a gym and started kayaking every day so that Greg will not beat me ever again. Watch out bud!I am hesitant to say what our workout will be till I know what the level. If the river is above an attainable level for wet bottom we will focus more time in the chutes. Once we are throughly warmed up there, I think it would be fun to have a race up to wet bottom then to Anglers at the end of class. We will have something planned for you all on Wednesday don't worry!I would like to say that everyone has been doing a fantastic job out on the river the past two weeks. Saturday all three groups ended pretty much at the same time which was great to see! What that tells me is that the manatees are improving, the Sharks are feeling tough, and the Dolphins need to work harder, just kidding we worked hard Saturday.I hope to see you all out there Wednesday! Rocky Island is in right now incase anybody wants to skip out on the rest of work and go out there!See you on the river!
