While we have the automatic gates now at GF they open automatically by electric sensor when the entrance station is closed. We never truly lock the gates at GF unless it snows or floods.This won't require a special use permit. We try to avoid having to permit activities in general as long as they aren't large or disruptive to the visitor or the resource. I have full faith that any member of the PPVC shares those values and will do things in an appropriate manner that won't require a permit.
