[WardFive] Upcoming Washington, D.C. Food Policy Council Meeting!

Hello Community members:

If you are interested in Food Policy, please come out to the next DC Food Policy Council meeting.

At the next meeting we will be hearing from the Department of Public Works on their Organic Waste/Food Waste Approach. If you have any thoughts on Food Waste in the city, I would love to hear them!

We will hold our next meeting on Wednesday August 2nd from 6-8pm, at 2235 Shannon Place SE, on the 2nd floor. Join us from 5:45-6pm for socializing and networking before the meeting's official business begins. To see the full agenda, Visit: https://dcfoodpolicy.org/

The DC Food Policy Council is a coalition of stakeholders and government representatives who have come together to identify regulatory burdens on the local food economy, collect and analyze data on the food economy and food equity, promote positive food policies, and guide organizations and individuals involved in the food economy.
