Right now, the cost of childcare in the District of Columbia is higher than anywhere else in the entire country. Yes, you read that right! Let's work together to change that!
MomsRising.org is partnering with the Universal ChildCare Now D.C. Coalition to make sure D.C. families get the 411 on upcoming childcare legislation and make sure we hear from families like yours on how child care is impacting your family.
We'll also be decorating onesies with messages to be delivered to City Council Members. So let's make it a playdate! Tell us what you think in person — and bring your children. We'll have food, juice boxes, kid-friendly space, and lots to talk about.
