WASHINGTON, D.C. -The District of Columbia Board of Elections (DCBOE) has been advised that members of the public who visited the Board this week, and staff within the agency, have been exposed to COVID-19, in some cases resulting in positive testing.

Accordingly, all agency staff will be working remotely, our offices will be closing to the public as of Monday, April 6, and they will remain closed until further notice. We apologize for any inconvenience, however, the safety and health of the public and our staff must be first priority.  Rest assured, the Board will continue to prepare for the upcoming Primary and Special Elections and will keep you informed of all information through our website and social media accounts. If you need a mail-in ballot request form sent to you, please call us at (202) 741-5283 and leave a message with your name and address. A form will be sent to you as soon as possible.

The District of Columbia Board of Elections is an independent agency of the District government responsible for the administration of elections, ballot access and voter registration.
