The Greater New York Avenue Gateway Corridor is bounded by District of Columbia/Prince George's County border to east, North Capitol Street to the west,  H Street, N.E. and Benning Road to the south, and Rhode Island Avenue to the north.   Some key crossroads include: Bladensburg Road and South Dakota, West Virginia, Montana, and Florida Avenues. "Main Streets" include: Rhode Island, North Capitol, and H Street.
