In the past three days on multiple occasions there has been a moderately heavy set shorter (About 5'3"-5'5") black women in her 40s-50s who has been seen walking in the unit block of Bates street. She has short hair and has a silver head band on.
Wednesday morning around 0730 she was seen peeking in car windows and acting as if she was bending downm when she stood back up ahe was attempting to open car doors. I and a few other neighbors saw her.
Yesterday afternoon/evening she entered a neighbor's vehicle (a registered nurse) and stole her stethoscope. A neighbor has her on his surveillance camera walking down the street spinning it.
This afternoon around 3 pm I along with several other neighbors saw her peeking in the window of vehicles on the other side of the street in the unit block.
Please be on the lookout and be mindful of what you leave in your cars in view. A few weeks ago we had a neighbor have her window broken and it fits the same profile.
Neighbors have reached out to 5th District but I wanted to give you all a warning/heads up.
