Please join Mayor Muriel Bowser this Saturday, July 11th at 9 am for the Ward 5 Fit DC community walk at Turkey Thicket Recreation Center, 1100 Michigan Avenue.
The Fit DC program is a new, fresh health and wellness initiative conceived by Mayor Muriel Bowser to encourage all District of Columbia residents from Ward 1 to Ward 8 to get out, move more and adopt a healthier, more active lifestyle.
To that end, we are asking for you to be a part of this new initiative and join Mayor Bowser as she walks with community members in the Brookland community this Saturday.
