* A sandwich shop that produces sandwiches better than Subway
* A Pizzeria- pizzas really made by hand with all fresh ingredients
* A grocery store (Good Foods) with good pricing and fresh local produce
* A coffee shop with some of the best coffee on the East Coast (Zeke's)
* A restaurant listed in the Washingtonian Magazine as one of the Best (Nido's)
PLEASE IGNORE ANY BOYCOTT!! We have tried for so long to get these businesses in this community. It would be absolutely foolish, asinine, and (I apologize to the Disney character Goofy) really goofy to try to put these businesses out of business.

Also, while we are at it lets look at who are some of the largest supporters of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU). Unfortunately, many of the folks on this list are the ones who are mainly supporting our institutions.
I'm not telling folks one way or the other how to spend their money, but I will say be mindful of how we use the term of supporting our community and our folks.

Good evening.... Black Lives Matters supporters! (BLM) Many of you have received a text about the boycott. We are urging you to do a FULL boycott. Not one at a time but all of them at once!
This is a month long silent boycott. As you know OUR dollars make the country tick. Take away our dollars they will be forced to listen and support this movement. BLM is about MORE than black people being mistreated by the police and judice system but rather ALL people.

Shop small businesses, black and minority business also ma and pop shops.
Lastly find black owned banks in your area. Support those that support YOU.
THIS WILL NOT BE COMFORTABLE... but keep in mind being target practice is not either. No more talking ...our money will speak volumes.
