Hi,
Remember to visit the farmers market Tuesday, 3:30 - 7:00pm.
Rain and hot weather is always a problem for farmers. The produce has to be picked and we rely on customers to come to the market. The rain last Tuesday kept a lot of our customers away. So we hope that tomorrow will bring good weather. We want to complete the season through October so please come out to the market.
Tuesday we'll have:
1. The last few cases of Honeycrisps and some new apples - Empire, Ida Red and Jonagold. Give them all a try!
2. The evening temperatures on the farm have dipped into the '30's! We're still harvesting basil and tomatoes but we're afraid it'll end soon. So come early to get them along with other summer veggies - squashes, cukes, before they end.
Also visit the Upper Crust Bakery, the sinful sweets, mushrooms and granola tables.
See you at the market and don't forget to bring your bags.
