My mother always tells me "boy, you should hang your mouth where the soup drops" - meaning, collect what you can collect from where you can get it. On the other hand, my father used to say - "boy, clear your own path and you will always look back and appreciate where you came from" Remember, your name is RAM-SON"!!! --- to those who don't know - that means son of GOD!!
And My Brother's favorite saying is "Horse don't make donkey"!!! So while I respect and appreciate my Mother tremendously, I am my father's SON.
So, Mrs. KPW - FYI - The people who love me and respect me as well those who appreciate all that the Cafe offers this community either already does so or will need to do so on their own as I don't "beg for a living" - I worked very hard thus far in life!!
And for the record, business is about being Equitable - when both sides benefit - if one don't see the benefit of who I am in this Community and everything the Cafe provides, then that sounds personal. I am comfortable with me!! I am not a politian, and don't plan to be - I call it as I see it whether they agree or not.
I think that Mrs. Sunday is in LOVE!! Unless there is another reason ----- IS THERE IS ANOTHER REASON YOOOOOOU CAN THINK OF??

If you do not want to hear about this injustice then bury your head in the
sand! Ignore these posts. Erase them if you will! At some point I will
tire of trying to engage our community and to end this war of attrition
being waged against this establishment.
It should be noted that an ongoing malevolent conspiracy to deprive the
Ward 5 commercial establishments known collectively as The Brookland Inn and
The BCafe of the legitimate right to prosper ... this is not old business!
This is ongoing and continues to effect the daily business as these same few
malcontents are blocking permits for expansion while another legitimate
business (and others) continue to flourish and expand. The investment Mr.
Ramson has in this Ward and in Brookland in particular dwarfs that of
virtually any other locally owned establishment. Am I the only one who
cares if the BCafe and the Inn survive this year?
This exchange is not about Rob Ramson, or The Brookland Inn Complex ... it
is about a few entrenched venal and implacable opponents with free legal
advice and counsel waging a futile unwinnable war of attrition, economically
bleeding this business. It is unfair. It is un American and it must stop!
I ask all fair minded citizens of Ward 5, of all races, of all ethnic
background to step up here and add your voice to mine. It's gettin' lonely
out here.

Because I feel like a large amount of the content that I'm seeing here is
not Ward 5 specific/relevant. I enjoy the news portion and discussion of
Ward 5 issues, but most of what I'm reading is completely off the
reservation. I'm strongly considering unsubscribing because I feel that this
list has lost its mission and just become a sounding board for a few
individuals. That's really sad, because I think that having a list for all
of Ward 5 is important. This list is not that. It's a place where people get
bullied, get into petty fights, and where I can read posts not directly
related to Ward 5.
