Meet the DC Candidates and Issues Forum

WHERE: Xi Omega Center, 4411 14th Street, NW – Ward 4 - Washington, DC

The DC Chapters of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. (Xi Omega, Xi Zeta Omega, and Rho Mu Omega) invite all District residents to meet the Ward 4 and At-Large DC Council candidates this Sunday, October 21 from 4:30 – 7:00 p.m. at the Xi Omega Center, 4411 14th Street, NW. Confirmed participating candidates include:

The program also will include an issues forum on the District's economy, health, education, governance, and the environment; which will be moderated by Washington Times Senior Correspondent Deborah Simmons, with featured panelists: Dennis Chestnut, Executive Director, Groundwork Anacostia River DC; Jami Dunham, Head of School, Paul Public Charter School; Eugene Kinlow, Director of Public Affairs, DC Vote; Kim Jeffries Leonard, President and CEO, Envision Consulting, LLC and former Chief Operating Officer, DC Department of Health; and Lisa Mallory, Director, D.C. Department of Employment Services.
