I just tuned in to the program and listening to the alleged "facts" against VO about Vernon Hawkins, Jean Harris being in his campaign office during the At large Special Election campaign.
Though I had disagreements w/VO, I find it discrediting to journalism that whoever was making the accusations did not state if these individuals were doing anything illegal while in this Ga Ave office, asked anyone to do anything illegal, these individuals made campaign contributions, etc. whether or not these individuals were directly tied to VOs campaign. No names of the alleged campaign workers who told this person this information was revealed.
Before you attempt to get others to support another candidate because of alleged illegal activity by a candidates, a broad brush of a situation is the cowardly way to go to try to exert influence over an election. We need to do better.
