[WardFive] Re: [ward5] Re: Breaking news

Eric (indc) --

You have a nice sayin that I like and fits -- Folks need to put on "Big Boy" pants - they need to lead from in front, not behind a rallying Ward 5.  I hope they don't write another soft letter reporting what was said at Phelps about Carbarn on Spingarm's campus. Both Kenyan and Corey are grown intelligent men - if you two want to lead - by all means, LEAD!!!

And before you two continue thinking that I don't like you - like saying " I hope god is blessing you" - which I translated well -- lets be clear - I just don't like some of the things you have done and just don't like what you are doing - every slick or and what you think are calculating moves puts our entire community at risk.  2014 is very near - Folks in this Ward are Bright and won't forget easy and I don't think that there will be enough "newcomers" there to support you like in this special election - And that's ot me speaking - just the News from the Captains on the Street!!  Kenyan - Stop being "new" and remember why you wanted that office - just like all of us, you were also disgusted with the failings of the system.

Big Boy Pants - That's part of the job! If only we could be like our tiny tots - they at least talk straight.

Tiffany shouldn't be reporting second hand news - put it out as soon as you get wind of it and keep us informed about the private meetings that has to do with our Ward. I am truly dissappointed in how easy two Bright Young Men can just get sucked in.

Debbie - thanks for bringing this to our attention. It seems odd to me that we have had to have the community rally around this so that it doesn't happen. Mary Cheh simply says no and it doesn't happen to her folks. I recall a conversation where they said that EVERY ward was going to get one anyway...this could have been their carbarn. Am I wrong about that?

I was just getting back into town from travel and couldn't make the meeting, but perhaps someone who was there could fill us in.

Originally, the consolidation plan called from the carbarns to locate at Walter Reed. CM Bowser said, No. So again, we are the dumping ground, and where anything no one in the city wants in there back yard we get. I have also be informed about a prostitution reform and condom exchange center near 14th and RI Ave NE.
