The District's Workforce Investment Council (WIC) would like to invite District residents to attend a 1-day workshop on, "Jumpstart Your Career Pathway". It will take place on September 22 and again on September 29, so please join us at a day of your convenience.

In addition to directly soliciting for your participation for this week's or next week's workshop, may I ask that you share this event with your constituents, friends and networks in the DC community. Please help us in encouraging them to attend and help create a path to their future.

The training will focus on strategies to get on the right track for employment through education and training. Participants will learn about demand industry occupations and potential earnings within the region, as well as steps to take to secure their dream job in the District of Columbia.
The four workshop topics are:
- Career Pathways
- Digital Technology
- Financial Literacy
- 21st Skills
Participants will walk away from this workshop with an Individual Training Plan so that they will have a better and clearer picture of what the next steps would look like for their careers.
