In light of recent tragic murders in Ward 5, Councilmember McDuffie, and community activists will be holding a press conference, peace walk and 'Sleep Out For Peace, Solidarity, and Solutions.'
This will take place tomorrow night, Friday, September 29 at 8:00 PM. The walk will begin at 6th Street NE and Edgewood Street NE and end at the park at 13th Street NE and Downing Street NE, the location of Zaire Kelly's death. More details can be found on the attached flyer or at the link below.
Please join us for all or part of the walk, or bring your sleeping bag and sleep out.
