Apparently there is a plan to construct a dam on the Rio Pescados which is below Barranca Grande, one of the classic stretches of Mexican whitewater that Tom's Mexico trip paddlers enjoy. I believe where Barranca Grande becomes Pescados the water becomes enriched with noxious microbes so I think Tom usually takes out above there.
