[WardFive] Mayoral forums and endorsements coming up

 

I want to remind you of the DC Latino Caucus and the Gertrude Stein Democratic Club Mayoral endorsement deadlines to participate in endorsement vote.    

• To be eligible to vote for the Mayoral endorsement in the DC Latino Caucus PAC, you need to become a member by 12:00 midnight on January 31, 2014.  Please Click here or visit http://www.dclc.org to sign up to be a member.
• To be eligible to vote for the Mayoral endorsement in the Gertrude Stein Democratic Club, you need to become a member by 12:00 midnight on February 4, 2014. Click here or visit http://www.steindemocrats.org to sign up to be a member.

 

Candidates forums taking place:

 

·         The Ward 3 Democratic Committee will hold a Forum for Democratic Mayoral Candidates on Tuesday, February 11th at the St. Columba's Episcopal Church at 4201 Albemarle St. N.W. from 7:00-9:00 pm. (See attached flyer) Mayoral Candidates Muriel Bowser, Jack Evans, Vincent Gray, Reta Lewis, Vincent Orange, Andy Shallal, and Tommy Wells will participate in the forum. WJLA-TV/ News Channel 8 Journalist Bruce DePuyt will serve as moderator with political analyst Mark Plotkin participating in the questioning. ·         DC Latino Caucus will have a Mayoral candidates forum on Saturday, March 1, Mayoral Candidates Forum and Endorsement, from 2-4PM Forum will be held at the Josephine Butler Center, 2437 15th Street NW, Washington, DC 20009, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM.  Visit our website for more information on forum.  We will also have an endorsement vote for Mayoral candidates running in the April 1, 2014 Primary.  You must be a member by January 31, to be able to vote in endorsement, visit www.dclc.org to become a member.  Voting will be from 10:30AM to 3:30PM (vote any time).   

·         Gertrude Stein Democratic Club will have a Mayoral Forum on March 6 at 7pm at Metropolitan Community Church 474 Ridge St NW, Washington, DC 20001
