We are meeting at 9 am tomorrow to set shuttle for our first, true SGD (Slow Grinding Death). The good news is that the water is high so it won't be as slow.
The parking area for Sycamore Island is off of Clara Barton parkway. When heading toward the city from Potomac/ Anglers, stay to the right to pass the turn off to MacArthur. You will go under a pedestrian bridge and the parking area immediately follows. There is overflow parking on MacArthur near Walhounding St.. You will just need to walk over said pedestrian bridge with your boat.
The back channels should be open and will be pretty mellow so don't worry about having to face S -turn at 7 ft. It may be raining. It is sure to be a blast. See you tomorrow morning!
