We need facilitators and recorders for our break-out groups at the Community Conversation on Education, to be held Tuesday, July 31, from 5:30-9:00 p.m. at Providence Hospital. Your presence will help make the event a success!

At the pre-meeting on Wednesday, July 25, you will be trained in the following:

·       Expand your skills in meeting facilitation and/or recording

·       Learn how to capture and prioritize the ideas that are generated in meetings

·       Learn how to deal with group conflict, dominant and shy participants, differing levels of technical expertise across a group, and other facilitation and recording challenges

·       Learn specific skills to moderate and record small group dialogues for a Community Conversation on Tuesday, July 31, from 5:30-9:00 p.m.

·       Enhance your resume by acquiring a training certificate from Public Agenda

Activities will include presentations, discussion and role-play practice sessions with feedback.

If you are interested in convening public forums and helping citizens discuss difficult issues, learning a new skill set or enhancing existing facilitation skills, or interested in incorporating public deliberation into your community—join us for this unique training.

Please RSVP by replying (forwarding) to ward5coe@gmail.com and CCing shelagh755@gmail.com .
