Jabari Bennett is currently 12 years old and is the #1 Ranked 13 year old Shot Put Thrower in the Country and competes in the 13/14 yr old category. In this Category, he is ranked 13th in the country. Last week, at USATF National Junior Olympics Championships, he placed 6th overall. Considering Jabari turns 13 on December 28th, the 5 national competitors placing ahead of Jabari last week are over 2 years older than he is. An Awesome Local Story
Currently, his parent is unemployed and but earns a living teaching a few kids how to play Chess. $857.02 was borrowed by Mr. Bennett to purchase round trip tickets and we are hoping to raise a total of $1600 to help him offset the price of these tickets, a rental car and hotel for July 30 thru Aug 2nd. Please help us raise the funds to allow his son to participate in this AAU National Junior Olympic Championship event without causing hardship on the family.
